The Girls Friendly Society was initially introduced in Zambia in 1992 and the current GFS Zambia statistics shows that membership in three (3) Dioceses stands at 1500+.

​GFS ZAMBIA ACTIVITIES:

• Spiritual - Bible knowledge, Bible Study Bible Quiz and learning how to Pray and Preaching
• Education - Home Management, Cookery, Hygiene, Sewing, Culture, Information
• dissemination on HIV/AIDS, Child abuse, Gender based violence etc.
• Physical - Sport, Modeling, Drama etc
• Service - Hospital and Prison visitation, offer help to the need and vulnerable ie orphans, the aged and people with disabilities.
• GFS Zambia has embarked on the programme to empower rural women with Tailoring skills and resulting from this skill GFS has been able to donate and dress alters at Misolo Anglican Church in Eastern Province and Masonsa Anglican Church in Southern Province.
